Introduction of dust filter bag
Dust filter bag, also known as dust collector bag, industrial dust collector filter bag, industrial dust collector bag, jet dust collector bag or fabric filter bag, is an integral part of bag filter operation. The dust filter bag is an essential part of the operation of a baghouse, and its main task is to capture solid particles in the dusty gas.
The dust filter bag is usually designed as a cylindrical bag and is suspended vertically inside the dust collector. Through the filtering effect of fiber fabrics, they can effectively purify the dusty gas.
Different materials of dust filter bags are suitable for different working environments. For example, normal temperature bags made of polyester, polypropylene, acrylic and other fibers are suitable for the dust removal needs of general industrial enterprises. High temperature dust collector bags made of high temperature resistant fibers such as P84, texturized glass fiber, and ultrafine glass fiber are suitable for dust collectors in various high temperature flue gas conditions.

Quality Assurance & High-Efficiency Filtration
Our company selects premium fine-denier fibers and employs cutting-edge international manufacturing techniques. Each filter bag is custom-designed for specific equipment to ensure a hermetic seal with the tube sheet, effectively preventing dust leakage through the plate holes. Perfect tube sheet fit guaranteed for optimal dust containment.
Specialized Tailored Solutions
Based on clients’ actual operating conditions, we provide customized filter bag solutions through specialized treatments including heat setting, calendering, PTFE impregnation, and PTFE membrane lamination. Stitch spacing maintained at 25±1 stitches/unit length, with no skipped stitches or loose threads.
Precision Control
Strict compliance with national standards ensures 100% pass rate in factory inspections. Guaranteed defect-free products: no bag breakage or significant stains. Membrane filter bags are stitched with precision to avoid surface damage. Seam strength exceeds 1000N tensile force.

Production of dust filter bags
The industrial dust collector bags are divided into two kinds of process:
One method utilizes industrial triple-needle, double-thread sewing machines for stitching needle-punched thick fabrics. This process not only demands high equipment requirements but also strict standards for thread selection and manufacturing, which ensure the dust collector filter bags maintain optimal performance during use. The production equipment employs industrial sewing machines, which are far more sophisticated than ordinary sewing devices. Workers must possess excellent skills to guarantee proper stitch tightness and pay attention to the coordination between upper and lower threads during sewing.
Another method involves thermal bonding of dust collector filter bags using advanced machinery, where pre-sized woven fabric from entire rolls is processed on the equipment. Bags produced by thermal bonding equipment are more compact, but the air velocity in baghouse dust collectors should be properly controlled. The thermal bonding process forms the entire filter bag into a cylindrical shape. This fully mechanized, preset-controlled equipment undoubtedly reduces labor costs, though this process is typically only employed in large-scale production.
Adoption of three-needle, two-thread sewing process.
Stabilized stitching process, less prone to breakage of wires.
Advantage of stabilized connectors over the heat fusion process.
Usage of industrial dust collector bags
The dust filter bag is the heart of the bag filter, mainly plays the role of filtering dust, when the dust-containing gas passes through the dust collector bag, the bag blocks the dust, and the induced draft fan sucks away the purified air. Accumulation of dust on the surface of the bag continues to increase, so that the seniority of the dust collector increases, then the pulse controller gets the signal, the bag for blown, so that the dust is removed in the dust hopper, by the unloader out from the dust collector. The effect of dust removal depends entirely on the dust bag.

Dust collector filter cage
The dust collector cage (also known as baghouse cage, filter cage, or dust collector frame) serves as a critical accessory in baghouse filters (fabric dust collectors). Commonly referred to as the “ribs” of filter bags, its quality directly impacts the filtration performance and service life of filter bags, as well as the overall dust removal efficiency of the baghouse system.
The wire mesh filter cage must feature evenly distributed support rings and longitudinal ribs, providing adequate strength and rigidity to withstand gas pressure during both filtration and cleaning cycles. It must maintain structural integrity to prevent damage or deformation caused by impacts and shocks during normal transportation and installation processes.
Advantages of AGICO’s dust collector filter cage
Sturdy Welding: All welding points on the filter cage are firmly bonded, with no broken welds, weak welds, or missed welds.
Smooth Contact Surface: The surface in contact with the filter bag is smooth and burr-free, without welding marks, unevenness, or sharp edges.
Spring-Stretch Design (for Tension-Type Cages): The spring-loaded cage features sufficient coil turns and elasticity, ensuring uniform spacing when extended.
Corrosion-Resistant Treatment: The cage surface undergoes anti-corrosion processing, including electroplating, powder coating, or painting, depending on requirements. For high-temperature applications, the coating withstands the specified operating temperature.
Precise Verticality: The dust collector cage maintains a vertical tolerance of ±1mm per 6 meters.
Modular Design: Available in single-piece, two-section, or three-section configurations for flexible installation.
Long-Length Support (3m+): Cages exceeding 3 meters come with a one-piece steel-made Venturi tube for optimized airflow.
Multiple Coating Options: Cages are available with galvanized (zinc-plated), powder-coated, or silicone-coated finishes for enhanced durability.
